Tekivo respects your privacy and aims to handle personal information responsibly. This policy explains the types of information we may collect through our website and services and how it may be used.

We may collect your name, business name, contact details, information supplied in enquiries or projects, communications with us, and website usage information where analytics are enabled.

Information may be used to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, provide and improve services, manage projects, maintain security, communicate with clients and meet administrative or legal requirements.

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how people find and use the site. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) that give your browser a random identifier, so visits can be counted. These cookies last up to two years unless you delete them.

Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location, such as city or region. Tekivo sees this only as combined reports and does not use it to identify you. We do not send your name, email address or enquiry details to Google. When an enquiry is sent, the only thing recorded in Google Analytics is that the enquiry form was submitted.

Google processes this information on its own systems, which may be located outside Australia, including in the United States. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. You can decline analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Declining switches Google Analytics off in your browser straight away and removes the cookies it set. On later visits the Google Analytics script isn't loaded at all. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block cookies in your browser settings. The website works the same either way.

Our website and services may use third-party hosting, cloud, email, analytics, form or business platforms. This website is hosted by Netlify, which also receives enquiry form submissions, and uses Google Analytics as described above. Those providers may process information under their own privacy terms and security practices.

Where AI or automation is used in a client solution, Tekivo aims to apply appropriate access controls and minimise unnecessary data exposure. Sensitive information should not be placed into unapproved public AI tools.

Tekivo takes reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information and retains it only for as long as reasonably necessary for services, records, security or legal obligations.

You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable requirements and exceptions. Please use the enquiry form on the Tekivo website and include “Privacy” in your message.
